How does Make-An-Offer work?

We are thrilled you are interested in one of our puppies. We ask you follow these easy instructions below to make sure you meet the criteria to properly place an offer. We cannot accept offers which don't meet the requirements below.

1. Puppies eligible for Make-An-Offer MUST be advertised for a minimum of 14 days on our website and advertising channels first (some pups require 21 days if they are a smaller breed). This allows people who follow our site via social networking or bookmarking a fair amount of time to make a decision. Additionally, we allot a certain amount of an advertising budget per puppy which is prepaid and normally lasts 14 days, and that budget needs to be spent before accepting any offers. To determine how long the puppy has been advertised simply call/text Jason@ 619-786-7362.

2. Potential offers must be made in person at our home kennel here in Escondido, CA and potential owners must be present to fill out our questionnaire. The form ensures we have the proper information to determine if the puppy is going to be a great fit for you and your family. To set up an appointment time you may call us, or email us using the form below. We cannot accept offers via text, phone call, email etc. We must meet the potential new owners first prior to accepting less than full asking price. For customers who aren't local, call Jason at 619-786-7362 to setup a skype/facetime chat to accomplish the same. Having done this for over 15 years, we like to think we have good placement skills for our puppies :)

3. Offers will be kept for up to 7 days. Anytime in that 7 days, we reserve the right to accept or deny the offer you have made just as you reserve the same right to retract it. Not every decision is based strictly on offer amount... it's a mixture of offer amount, timing, and the family making the offer. If the puppy has been on our website for a significant amount of time past their advertising expiration date, then we are more likely to want to re-home the puppy sooner rather than later. This means, a family who can pickup the soonest with a reasonable offer would most likely be approved for the adoption.

**If we do not have any offers once the expiration of the advertising budget has arrived, then we will start lowering the adoption price by $100-200 per week until the puppy sells and finds a new home. We often get the question "What happens to the puppies who don't sell?" With our current approach of lowering adoption fees every week until a puppy sells, HD photos and aggressive advertising campaign, this isn't a problem. Disclaimer*: Most offers made on puppies which we deny immediately are somewhere in the ballpark of 50% asking price or below-- please keep in mind that we have never accepted a low ball offer. The offers which win are usually $50-$250 off our listed asking price but not deviating too much from there."

Marquis and Albendazole are preventative medicines. Both defend and prevent parasite's and are used to terminate the parasite's coccidia and giardia; both are administered orally. We find them to be so important that in order for us to offer a 1 year Health Guarantee we ask that these are administered. These are used specifically as a PRECAUTIONARY TREATMENT which we take for every puppy in case their immune system is compromised during the transition period (i.e. stressed). Think of it like vitamins for dogs. The Marquis is a 1 times treatment 72 hours (3 days) after arrival on a full stomach. IF INCLUDED IN YOUR BAGGIE (some might not have this product if the puppy has already received this treatment under our care) The Albendazole is given .25ml am and pm for 5 days starting 24 hours after arrival and only after a meal (albendazole is a de-wormer and there is no need to get any additional de-wormer from your vet). Once the albendazole is gone, you do not need any more worming medication.
